The following are writings, first are my fiction Northern Paiute Stories, some of them are not fiction, but I chose to put all the Northern Paiute Stories together. Second is blogs of other things I think on, and some from a time at Grandma's Attic when Megan Yotter-Brown and I worked together to tell of the interesting items in the store. The last page is some of things that I have had published; poetry, flyers, directories, and monthly newsletters.
I am in the process of writing a book that for now I will call the runner. I have over 29,000 words and working regularly on it. It is the story of a Northern Paiute runner from 1836 to 1934. I tied in a lot of United States history, Northern Paiute history and tell it from what could have been the Native American perspective. I am reading and researching all the time. So my thoughts and views that show up in stories and books are constantly changing as I come across new information. No story is completely true, that is why it is fiction, but with the knowledge I had at the writing it was what I believe was the correct information. Check out my Facebook page Canita Pro. Like and share please. If you like the short stories I have written and are interested in my book. Please leave me your name and e-mail address for I will be compiling a list to share with as I work. Thank you for viewing my pages.
